Both research-based and anecdotal evidence has pointed to the vulnerability of those early in their careers with regards to their mental health. As organisations are increasingly recognising the importance of tailoring their wellbeing approach to encompass the individual challenges faced by this demographic of the workforce, it is important to turn attention to the processes which impact their entry into the organisation; recruitment and induction.

Focussing primarily on the induction process, this CMHA UK event will draw upon the experiences of young people through the job seeking process, and into organisations, and share good practice from organisations refining their approach to their induction processes, and touch on the impact of recruitment practices. This event will look at various populations of Early Career entrants, including apprentices and graduates.
