We are delighted to present an in-person event on 4 June, in collaboration with the Employers Initiative on Domestic Abuse (EIDA) : Supporting employees impacted by domestic abuse using insights from workplace wellbeing.

We are thrilled to be working with EIDA on this session, kindly hosted by Amazon UK. EIDA is a free-to-join members' network of employers, supporting around 1,500 large and small businesses, collectively comprising over 25% of the UK workforce, to take effective action on domestic abuse.

This event sets out to raise awareness about domestic abuse amongst employers, to inspire them to support their employees and to equip them with practical guidance about how to do this. Many workplaces have made great strides over the last decade or so to protect and nurture the mental health of their employees. Can we learn from the way employers have gone about transforming workplace mental health as we develop and implement effective workplace responses to domestic abuse?

The session will provide an opportunity to hear from a variety of experts, including those with lived experience, and share ideas on how support for those impacted by domestic abuse can form part of the broader wellbeing strategy. The event offers attendees a chance to connect with other employers, share learnings from your organisational experience, ask questions, and engage with a community of people all dedicated to tackling domestic abuse, supporting survivors and creating workplaces where people can thrive.

We will also welcome Hestia to announce the recipients of the Everyone’s Business Award , in recognition of employers that have demonstrated exceptional leadership to tackle domestic abuse.

This event is aimed at those leading and implementing the domestic abuse response within an organisation (such as HR, wellbeing and D&I professionals).

Invitations and registration details have been shared directly with the MindForward Alliance and EIDA community.
