Thriving From The Start: Early Careers
01 Oct 2020 12:30 - 13:45
Are you in the first few years of your career? Would you like to learn more about how to support your own mental health and wellbeing in the workplace?
The CMHA and the CMHA’s Thriving From The Start Network are inviting you to a discussion about why and how we should prioritise mental health and wellbeing in the workplace. As the COVID 19 pandemic impacted almost everyone’s wellbeing, it’s more important than ever to build our skills and knowledge in this area. You will hear from:
Anastasia Vinnikova , Wellbeing Lead at the Bank of England and also Committee member for the Thriving From The Start Network, will share insights from her experience of living with poor mental health and unhealthy perfectionism. And about how she and her employer have worked together since the start of her career to ensure that she can thrive
Peter Rodgers , Deputy General Counsel at KPMG International and CMHA Board member, will talk about what he wished he’d known about mental health and wellbeing at the start of his career, and why prioritising mental health and wellbeing in the workplace is so important
Jaan Madan , an experienced CMHA mental health trainer, will share a simple and effective tool to support you to manage your wellbeing needs
The event will be facilitated by Farimah Darbyshire, CMHA Early Careers Health Programme Lead.
