Thriving from the Start - What is Unhealthy Perfectionism?

We will cover what unhealthy perfectionism is, personal experiences of this phenomenon, and how we can challenge it. The event aims to raise awareness of unhealthy perfectionism, and ensure you know that if this is something you've struggled with, you're not alone.
Hosted by Anastasia Vinnikova, Co-Chair of Thriving from the Start and Wellbeing Lead at the Bank of England, you will hear from;
- Farimah Darbyshire - Farimah is the Early Careers Mental Health Programme Lead at the CMHA, working with businesses to to protect, support and create positive mental health for people who are making the transition from education into their first job.
- Will Banks - Will is an Analyst within the Bank of England's Financial Stability Directorate, graduating from LSE and joining the Graduate Development Programme in 2020, in the midst of the global pandemic.
- Ashley Fontaine - Head of Communications and Workplace Wellbeing at EM360, Ashley promotes both enterprise IT solutions and positive mental wellbeing to tech professionals. She is also a qualified Youth Mental Health First Aider, extending her mental health advocacy beyond her 9-5 and into the wider community.
Registration is free, and open to all those coming to the end of their education journey, or within the first 3 – 4 years of their career. Although the event is aimed at young people, it may also be of interest to early careers leads, line managers and parents.
The Thriving from the Start Network is for people who are early in their career, or about to begin a career, and are interested in improving mental health in the workplace. The Network provides an opportunity to connect with others who share the same passion and drive to build mentally healthy workplaces. Your company does not need to be a City Mental Health Alliance member for you to join the Network.
