Senior Sponsor Insight & Exchange: The long working hours culture, is there an opportunity for change?
19 Jun 2021 09:00 - 10:00
Member event: CMHA Senior Sponsors leadership discussion about ways of working and what business leaders can do to support employee wellbeing alongside the demands of a high-pressure working environment.
The event will be chaired by Pete Rodgers, Deputy Counsel, KPMG, who shares why he feels it is so important to have this discussion “as someone who manages a large team in many different geographies, managing the team’s huge workload and working hours over numerous time zones is the thing I spend the most time worrying about - I want to get this right for my team and I would like to learn more about how to do better.”
The spotlight is on the subject of long working hours, while at the same time ways of working are being redrawn. We are taking this opportunity to explore this issue with our members. This is a sensitive subject and our objective is to have an honest and transparent discussion and under Chatham House rules, we will listen to people’s challenges, share ideas and discuss potential opportunities for change and growth. We will also want to hear what support CMHA can provide to members on this issue.
