ROLE SUMMARY

Executive management position with responsibility for leading on and being accountable for all India chapter programmes of work. This role will report directly to the CMHA India Board and will have management responsibility for future members of the team. This role will work closely with the Global CEO and members of the executive team from global and other local chapters.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Deliver program and operational management and input to strategic leadership for CMHA India.

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop annual and long-term strategic plans that support the chapter strategy, setting objectives and key performance indicators against which success and improvement are measured.
  • Engage Board and key stakeholders in the mental health vision and strategic priorities, including developing strong working relationships with mental health experts, influential academic and research bodies and policy makers that will inform the strategy and programme of work.
  • Represent CMHA India externally, through speaking engagements and external communications, contributing and influencing good practice, and the wider cascade of information and resources relating to mental health in the workplace across India.

Member Engagement & Program Management

  • Provide leadership, management, and build positive workplace relationships with member organisations and increase membership by making the CMHA a compelling value for money membership offering.
  • Develop and support an evolving membership engagement strategy to ensure members receive value and help create positive change for their employees in workplace mental health.
  • Coordinate and deliver an events program including large scale events for senior leaders and HR/Wellbeing/D&I practitioners, that will:
    • Providing learning, expertise and insight to members that helps them with their strategy and programmes of work;
    • Provide peer networking opportunities that give all members opportunity to share and to learn from each other; and
    • Identify the good practice within existing membership and provide opportunities to share and raise the profile of members.
  • Develop content, resources and insights and communication for member organisations.

Marketing and Communications

  • Design and develop a communication and PR strategy with key messaging for CMHA India speakers both external and internal and collaborate with member businesses and media outlets to build awareness of CMHA and to deliver on the chapter vision.
  • Develop content and coordinate communications in respect of the CMHA activities.
  • Oversee the development of a database with member details and a log of member status in relation to the set aspirations, all in compliance with Data Protection Regulations.
  • Oversee the development of marketing materials for prospective members.
  • Oversee the development of the CMHA India website as the 'show room' for the India Chapter by promoting the good practice case studies.

Governance & Operations

  • Work with the Board to drive the strategic plan and other initiatives overseeing all aspects of delivery, program design, resource allocation and stakeholder engagement.
  • Be accountable for the financial and operational management of CMHA India and ensure that appropriate control systems are maintained, including management of the bank account and accounting records.
  • Support the Board to establish the best legal entity framework for the CMHA.
  • Lead the Executive Team (where appropriate) and any consultants or other contractors.
  • Ensure that appropriate monitoring and evaluation of resources is in place across the organisation.
  • Develop people management strategies, which support a motivated, skilled and flexible workforce.
