Experienced medical professional joins the CMHA UK’s Board.

CMHA UK is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Gill MacLeod to its Board. Dr MacLeod is a GP and practising Occupational Health Physician, and was previously CEO of Roodlane Medical.

Dr MacLeod said, “In my 30 years as a doctor in the City, I have seen the powerful potential of the workplace to offer purpose, empowerment, community and satisfaction to employees, and be a life enhancing force for people. Equally, if businesses don’t get it right, they can negatively impact the mental health and wellbeing of employees. I have long admired the City Mental Health Alliance and its commitment to ensuring more businesses achieve the former rather than the latter.

“The CMHA’s work is more important than ever in these challenging, uncertain times and I feel privileged to join the Board. I hope that I can help make difference in what I consider to be the most important health issue in the workplace today.”

Brian Heyworth, Chair of the CMHA UK Board, said, “We are delighted to welcome Dr Gill MacLeod to the CMHA UK Board. Gill is bringing an incredible wealth of knowledge about workplace mental health, the risks and opportunities for business. This knowledge will be invaluable as our Alliance of business leaders strive to tackle the challenges facing organisations today and answer the question - how do we build workplaces that are good for employees’ wellbeing?”
