About the CMHA:

The City Mental Health Alliance (CMHA) is a business-led, expert-guided membership organisation that works with senior leaders and HR leads in large corporate businesses, typically from financial, legal, professional services and technology sector, to help transform workplaces into mentally healthy environments. The CMHA is established in the UK, Hong Kong, Australia and Singapore, with more regions in the pipeline.

Our vision is to create mentally healthy workplaces and inspire health creation in businesses

Health creation means creating working environments and experiences that are so positive they improve peoples’ health – both physically and mentally.

The CMHA works hand in hand with members, at leadership and operational level, to facilitate change, develop and embed positive mental health practice within workplaces in a sustainable and measurable way. We are a solutions-focused organisation. Our strength lies in the unique collaboration of our members, working together to draw upon the vast pool of knowledge and experience from across business, and with guidance from our expert advisory board, to find, test and deliver solutions that work for our members.

Role summary:

This is an exciting time to join the CMHA as we look to grow our membership base, evolve our membership offering, and expand our portfolio of non-member services. We are seeking a motivated candidate to help develop and deliver a business development strategy to help grow our membership, both in the UK and globally, and to promote our additional services offering, including training and assessment. The role will also encompass relationship management to oversee member engagement, develop relationship ‘journeys’ with additional services clients and build strategic partnerships. Success in the role will be measured on achieving targets that relate to growing our member pipeline, securing new members and selling additional services.

The CMHA exec team is agile, entrepreneurial and supportive. We all work from home, with trips into London and other UK locations for in-person team meetings and events (as restrictions ease).  This role will report to the Deputy CEO but will work closely across the CMHA Executive Team.
